Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-07-21T04:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-07-21T04:24:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N15W73
Active Region Number: 13744
Note Keyword:
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
Ha: Bright emission (likely H-alpha emission)
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: Bright CME seen to the WNW in all coronagraphs. The source is an eruption from AR 3744 and M1.4 flare which peaked at 2024-07-21T03:55Z (best observed in SDO AIA 131). Also observed in SDO AIA 171/193/211 as rapidly opening field line movement starting around 2024-07-21T03:28Z followed immediately by a post-eruptive arcade.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

This measurement excludes C2 and some earliest C3 and COR2A frames to provide a more accurate final speed, as some acceleration was observed in the measurement with every frame. 1: Result 1 (2.0 AU)
